Bio

Gunther Verheyen calls himself an independent Scrum Caretaker on a journey of humanizing the workplace with Scrum. He is a long-time Scrum practitioner who started applying Scrum in 2003. Besides having engaged with many teams and organizations since then, he also published two acclaimed books about Scrum and was partner of Ken Schwaber (co-creator of Scrum) as Director of the “Professional Scrum” series at Scrum.org.

As an independent Scrum Caretaker, he offers a range of services to help teams, individuals, and executives embrace Scrum and create more humane and effective workplaces. He is also a licensed Professional Scrum Trainer for Scrum.org, where he has partnered with Ken Schwaber, co-creator of Scrum. Through his company, Ullizee-Inc, he is a member of the Professional Training Network of Scrum.org, delivering high-quality Scrum courses and workshops.
